Various restrictions to fight Covid-19 have prompted luxury hotels to introduce home delivery in connection with food delivery platforms.

“Home delivery will continue to be an important offering in the future as remote working has become a way of life. We have learned a unique way to reach our diners who may love to eat in the comfort of their own homes. ITC Hotels Corporate Executive Chef Manisha Bhasin told PTI during the launch of the Feel-Good menu.
However, the hotel arm of the Rs 45,000 crore conglomerate has not speculated on its future contributions to income.
“With the changing environment, diners have developed a taste for our take-out menus, serving the best of ITC hotel cuisines. Carefully crafted and handled with the utmost hygiene to ensure well-being, the carefully prepared menu guarantees a unique dining experience, ”said Bhasin.
Covid-19 had rekindled health awareness among consumers and this encouraged the luxury hotel to revert to traditional methods of healthy eating and cooking.
“From healthy cereals and flax seeds, muffins and croissants to amaranth and chia, to the much deeper integration of old goodness, the Feel-Good menu emphasizes the ancient practice of slow cooking. using local and seasonal ingredients, ”said the manager.
