Marketing Coordinator of MG Architects promoted to Director of Business Development

Muhlenberg Greene Architects is pleased to announce that Suzanne L. Cody, Corporate Marketing Coordinator, has been elevated to Partner and appointed Director of Business Development.

The Partner designation recognizes Suzanne’s professional abilities and creative skills, as well as her excellent track record with the firm, and the trust of firm principals, Scott Graham, AIA, Bob Conklin, AIA and Jim Sarro, AIA, have in her. She has continuously demonstrated her commitment to translating the company’s strategic objectives into effective public relations, marketing and communications efforts to increase awareness and understanding of MGA’s capabilities.

Since joining the team in 2019, Ms. Cody has played a leading role in articulating the company’s story and brand. With over 20 years of marketing experience, Suzanne has been an integral part of corporate communications during the pandemic, 100th anniversary and leadership transition.

Ms. Cody’s role as Director of Business Development is to focus on the company’s business development activities, community outreach and networking, as well as setting and implementing goals. and marketing strategies.

Suzanne will provide oversight on all aspects of nurturing client relationships, including identifying new prospects, coordinating between business development and operations, and identifying market trends. In addition to her role as Director of Business Development, Suzanne has also taken on responsibility for developing MG Architects’ internship programs.

Ms. Cody received an Associate of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. She holds a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce and an Integrated Digital Marketing Certificate from Penn State.

Suzanne currently lives in Reading, PA with her better half, Steve, and their rescue chihuahua, Oatmeal. His daughter Madeline is a freshman at Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Suzanne is a prominent figure in our community, as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Reading Pagoda Foundation and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Reading Theater Project. She holds additional positions on the Programs Committee of SMPS Central PA, the Marketing Committee of the Children’s Home of Reading and is a member of the Junior League of Reading.

Ms. Cody will work from the company’s Wyomissing office, while continuing to guide business development initiatives across the company’s service area, including eight states (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland , North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Vermont) and the District of Columbia.
