Watercrest Senior Living Group strengthens its culinary leadership by welcoming Sébastien Watteau as regional director of culinary operations
Watteau joins the Watercrest management team with an intriguing and expansive dining experience ranging from luxury hotels to the White House. Born in the Loire Valley of France and raised in Mexico, Watteau was introduced to exquisite culinary fusions at a young age, where he discovered his passion for the industry. After a hotel training in Spain, and military service in France, Watteau returned to the United States for graduate studies in restoration. He owned and operated two successful restaurants in Texas before his recruitment as Executive Chef of the luxury hotel La Posada in Texas, then to the director of food and beverage at the Hyatt hotel in the heart of Washington, DC His reputation in DC has earned him chief executive positions in federal agencies, such as the CIA, NIH, and even the White House.
