You are a highly motivated and energetic individual who can increase the distribution and volume of all ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic products in collaboration with distribution partners while managing all aspects of daily operations in the assigned territory. This position will be responsible for driving the ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic initiatives and monitoring established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); includes management of distributor communication and front-line relationships, reporting and maintenance of point-of-sale assets.
SALES PRIORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DISTRIBUTORS
Responsible for sales and DSD sales management for ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic in assigned market(s).
Front line contact for assigned DSD Distributor Partner
Develop sales forecasts and budgets for the market(s)
Align with the Distributor General Manager and Sales Management team to maximize sales volume, execute agreed programs, ensure execution of all retail channel clearances, implement ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic pricing architecture, national and regional priorities and incentive programs
Work collaboratively with the distributor and share best practices, acting as a major contributor/leader to other distributor representatives
Regularly participate in distributor meetings to inform sales teams of promotions, new programs and share success stories; develop “shared spirit” and brand awareness with the sales team
Schedule regular monthly trips with distributor sales team members to ensure focus, grow the retail account base, and sell in the ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic programs
Regularly monitor the distributor’s inventory of ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic products to ensure that adequate supply is available on the distributor to meet planned monthly sales targets as well as point-of-sale inventory
Periodically leave the assigned territory to help other markets with crews, as requested by your Msgr.
Lead and support consumer and retail activity by working closely with the Field Marketing Manager as required in the market.
Open new accounts, increase distribution and case volume of ZenWTR® and myMUSE® Organic, independent of the distributor’s sales team; This includes:
Pre-sale using distributor no-purchase reports; place orders via a pre-determined system with the distributor
Reduction of products, goods and prices when opening new accounts
Merchandise on both shelves and display (helps build and maintain space)
Reset store shelves to improve brand space
Full minimum number of daily retail calls (set by Msgr.)
Open a minimum number of new monthly accounts (established by Mgr.)
Develop “in-store” distribution points within each brand; the goal is to get all authorized SKUs into the cold box, hot shelf, and get additional displays (i.e. sidestacks, endcaps, etc.)
Earn a minimum number of additional monthly retail views (set by RSM)
Develop and maintain relationships with “Influencer” or “Key” retail accounts
These are strategically located chains or independent retailers that are “influencer accounts” based on location/visibility, market status, volume potential, or other criteria that make these accounts strategically important
Develop and maintain relationships with regional channel account management
Develop and maintain store-level relationships with national chain accounts and support the execution of the national accounts program.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred
Beverage dispenser/DSD management experience or CPG experience (2+ years preferred)
Experience in the non-alcoholic beverage industry preferred
Retail account management experience preferred
Exceptional oral/written communication skills
Ability to manage and analyze sales data; business/business analysis
Extensive computer skills including MS Office software, standard email clients and internet research ability
Ability to travel 50% to 60% on work-related travel
Valid driver’s license in state of residence and clean driving record
Authorized to work in the United States permanently
